I have enjoyed this series of posts about the application of project management in the real world. This is another great post about how project management at the Glastonbury Festival.
Their have been occasions where Project Managers who have reported to me, have provided status updates that don’t quite match the what others are advising. It was a very tricky situation and it put me in a difficult situation. I liked the last line in the post – Be a leader, one that speaks about reality and encourage authentic conversation.
I had never thought about requirements having a half life. When I started thinking about this idea, I agreed with this concept. Sometimes projects can take so long to deliver that the customer/organisation requirements have moved on. Great post.
