Here are the blog posts and articles that caught my attention this week:

  • Learning People

I have enjoyed this series of posts about the application of project management in the real world. This is another great post about how project management at the Glastonbury Festival.

  • Project Aria

Their have been occasions where Project Managers who have reported to me, have provided status updates that don’t quite match the what others are advising. It was a very tricky situation and it put me in a difficult situation. I liked the last line in the post – Be a leader, one that speaks about reality and encourage authentic conversation.

  • Cap Tech Consulting

I had never thought about requirements having a half life. When I started thinking about this idea, I agreed with this concept. Sometimes projects can take so long to deliver that the customer/organisation requirements have moved on. Great post.

  • Zilicus

Interesting article about why some form of lean governance adds value to agile projects.

  • The Program Manager
