What is your project management super power?

Communication skills and trust within team.

How can gender diversity be improved in the project management profession?

Gender diversity can help women get a chance to show their leadership skills which otherwise they are unable to show as majority of the lead roles are assigned to men. Women should be given all the equal chance that a man is being given, be it leading meeting call with stakeholders of a project or representing the organisation on external platforms so that not just men but women are also recognised as leaders.

As the profession evolves, what skills do you think will be key for future success?

As a Project Manager one should not only focus on the timelines management or its delivery but should also get involved in knowing the product inside out by doing research on similar products present in industry in order to pick out the best practices to develop a product. Get to know the UX guidelines and map your product journey according to that in order to deliver quality enriched product.

How do you recover from difficult situations?

Let’s be honest. I cry first to calibrate myself then I discuss them with the people whom I trust and have their unbiased opinion before I could decide something out of my unbalanced sentiments.

What are your tips and techniques for conflict resolution?

Communicate effectively. Communication is the key to resolutions.

Which 3 words best describe why you enjoy being a project manager?

Responsibility, Ownership and Delivery.
