What is your project management super power?

Stakeholder management is my super power. I strongly believe in managing stakeholders using good communication skills and building good relationship to work collaboratively to achieve the ultimate goals in projects.

How can gender diversity be improved in the project management profession?

The industries are already acknowledging the gap in gender diversity. So, the next step would be to provide equal opportunities for leadership and executive roles, support for professional development and provide flexible environment in order to maintain work life balance.

As the profession evolves, what skills do you think will be key for future success?

Communication is the key and will always be one of the keys to success in project management. Global Integrated delivery is emerging in many parts of the businesses so it is very essential to communicate the ideas clearly to avoid future conflicts.

How do you recover from difficult situations?

I usually take a pause and take deep breathes which allows me to think clearly. Then I reflect on what went wrong and analyse the situation. I try to find the root cause of the issues, share lesson learnt with the team and move forward.

What are your tips and techniques for conflict resolution?

Stay calm, listen to different perspectives by having conversations, empathizing the situation without pointing fingers.

Which 3 words best describe why you enjoy being a project manager?
