Bio:

Enthusiastic entrepreneur seeking to gain PMP status.

What I enjoy most about being a project manager is:

Being able to understand the basics of so many different fields, interacting with like minded people and being able to satisfy my clients needs.

The three most important skills I use to successfully deliver projects are:

-Active Listening
-Research
-Careful Planning

I build and nurture my professional network by:

-Volunteering on projects whenever I can
-Teaching; passing on helpful information to prospective project practitioners (prepping for exams)

At the start of my career, the one thing I wish I had known is:

I’m still at the start of my career… but I’m hoping I can gain more opportunities to be involved and gain the hours needed to be eligible to write my PMP exam.

Women who have inspired me so far in my career journey are:

Jeanette Jean Louis Hughes, PMP

The most valuable advice I have ever been given is:

Don’t give up on yourself.

My advice for women on finding success as a project manager is:

Be involved with all types of projects even those you don’t find favorable, helps you be more diverse.
