1. Influencing Public and Private Sector Project success in the past 15 years.
2. Training and mentoring over 5,000 Individuals directly or indirectly in Project Management.
3. Authoring ‘Lessons learned managing Projects in Nigeria’ and co-authoring ‘Day in a Life of a Project Manager’ both available on Amazon
Why is a career as a Project Manager a great choice for women?
I think because we are natural jugglers. It can now be formalized with best practices easily as a profession.
How can women stand out in the field of Project Management?
Online Visibility so important. Infact that is how I started and got seen,heard and hired for my services. Volunteering in community projects. Creating events around mentoring youth and women in Project Management
What are some of the challenges women face as Project Managers?
Gender Inequality – Men earn more than women in this space. Lack of Mentoring to help them wade through the murky waters of building a career and home at the same time.
What can we do to help women to be exceptional Project Managers?
Constant life long learning in bite sizes since women always juggle time,collaborating with others.
Any other comments about Women in Project Management?
Women need to collaborate more and produce events,books,coaching programs for younger women etc.
