What is your project management super power?
Based on my technology background, I am able to connect with technologists from any domain, be it infrastructure or application or product to better understand the work & contribute to the overall success of my projects.
How can gender diversity be improved in the project management profession?
Having mentors from both genders; it’s powerful to have more women as mentors, to be a role model for aspiring women project managers.
As the profession evolves, what skills do you think will be key for future success?
The ability to connect with people and the domain knowledge will be the key to future success.
How do you recover from difficult situations?
My approach is to state the problem or difficult situation to the team & for us to jointly solve it. I believe project delivery is team work with the project manager being the servant leader.
What are your tips and techniques for conflict resolution?
Conflict resolution depends on good relationships within the team, trust and team culture. It’s important to focus on these from the beginning to ensure the team can at times agree to disagree & focus on the end goal.
